Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments; pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup. Load and unload trucks accurately, operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, and assist with inventory management and cycle counts. Inspect flooring materials for damage, maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, and support customers with loading and order pickups. Perform additional duties as assigned while working in warehouse, dock, yard, and delivery environments with varying temperatures. Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb throughout the workday
- Ability to safely handle flooring materials, carpet rolls, pallets, and installation supplies
- Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and delivery environments with varying temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior delivery, warehouse, logistics, or flooring industry experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred or the ability to obtain certification
- Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills preferred
