Job Summary
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup by loading, packing, wrapping, and shipping items. Organize shipping labels for parcel and skid shipments while receiving, picking, unloading, labeling, and storing warehouse stock. Assist in container and trailer loading and unloading, and ensure effective handoff of parcels to common carriers. Maintain a clean, safe working environment, optimize space utilization, and perform inventory controls and checks to report discrepancies. Utilize shipping software and barcode scanners while adhering to quality standards and procedures. This temporary role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and works approximately three months.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to prioritize when you have overlapping tasks
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Basic computer literacy with experience using barcode scanners preferred
- Good organizational and time management skills
- High school degree preferred
- Forklift Experience preferred
