Warehouse Associate - Wire Cutter

Job Summary
Operate and maintain wire-cutting machinery in a warehouse. Identify specific wire by reel labels and maintain batch codes. Identify top and bottom footages on cuts. Perform basic math to maximize cuts per master reel. Update and maintain the wire cut log and daily machine inspection sheets. Fill special orders and backorders; fill orders for delivery to customers. Coordinate with departments for wire-material damages and shortages. Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure safe operation; follow all safety regulations. Ability to work independently or with a small team; strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines; excellent English communication and customer-service mindset. Preferred experience with forklift operation and SAP/Windows-based systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation and knowledge of electrical products/systems preferred
