Job Summary
Warehouse Associate responsible for load/unload and movement of furniture orders, accurate inventory processing with scanners, and cross-training across Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Returns. Roles involve safety-focused operations, manual lifting, and operating Material Handling Equipment when certified. The role supports a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to multiple fulfillment steps and potential for overtime, shift differential, and bonuses. This position is seasonal and based in Wayfair’s Manassas, VA facility, emphasizing teamwork, attention to detail, and reliability in a high-volume supply chain.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cherry picker, order picker, or related MHE experience
- Able to read and comprehend English
- The ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (8+ hours)
- The ability to frequently lift and move merchandise up to 75+ lbs. unassisted
- Comfort with heights (up to 40ft)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Basic computer/tablet/handheld device proficiency
