Job Summary
Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, organizing and putting away materials in designated locations while pulling and compiling customer orders onto consolidated pallets. Wrap and band pallets to ensure safe delivery, assist with customer pickups for residential vehicles, and aid coworkers in moving large, awkward boxes. Communicate any discovered material damage or inventory issues to the Tile Warehouse Manager and physically unload materials during the container receipt process while making system inputs. Maintain a safe and clean work area, lifting and moving heavy boxes weighing 50-75 lbs regularly. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with overtime as business needs dictate, requiring forklift and reach machine experience.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work Monday – Friday during the window of 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
- The ability to lift and move heavy boxes 50-75 lbs. Regularly
- Knowledge and experience with forklifts and reach machines
- At least 1-year prior experience
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
