Job Summary
Pick, clean, and giftbox customer orders while box and ship orders safely using UPS & FedEx software. Unpack totes to restock shelves and maintain a clean, organized work area at all times. Comply with company rules, regulations, and policies, reporting any violations as assigned. Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, shipping, order filling, stocking, and packing across the distribution center. Occasionally provide ride-along assistance during peak seasons and help move products between locations. Transport products to retail locations in Hanover, Quechee, and Windsor approximately 10 miles, loading and unloading the truck regardless of who is driving. Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water prior to each delivery. Complete and schedule required maintenance to ensure the truck functions properly. All training will be provided.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver License
- 3+ years experience
- Must be in compliance with DOT regulations regarding interstate commerce
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate in interstate commerce
- Successful completion of a DOT physical
- Clean background check
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Solid verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to read maps and operate GPS systems
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to use hands and arms to steer and adjust controls as needed
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb all day when working in the warehouse
- Must be able to read and understand English
