Job Summary
Conduct receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping operations by examining shipments against records, ensuring inventory accuracy, and placing goods in correct warehouse locations. Perform order picking, accurately sort and load delivery trucks for on-time customer deliveries, and operate equipment including pallet jacks, 2-wheel dollies, and order picker lifts safely while handling items up to 75 pounds. Maintain precise documentation for all paperwork and verify deliveries are returned on time. Uphold a strong focus on safety and customer service in all interactions with colleagues and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, or equivalent Military or practical experience
- 0 - 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend or twist body
- Ability to use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to keep or regain their balance
- Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
- A keen eye for detail to verify the accuracy of shipments and paperwork
- Physical capability to lift items up to 75 pounds consistently and operate warehouse equipment
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, customers, and leadership
- A customer-centric attitude to deliver exceptional service to customers
- A strong focus on safety to ensure a secure work environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed
