Job Summary
Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders for will call or delivery, prepare orders for shipment, and load/unload trucks. Receive and stock products daily to replenish inventory, while participating in cycle counting and other inventory management practices. Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary and maintain neat, clean warehouse and outside areas. Uphold safe practices and understand product capabilities and warranties. This entry-level branch position introduces associates to the business, product knowledge, and industry best practices to prepare them for future opportunities within Summit's electrical supply distribution.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
- Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment

- Previous warehouse experience
- Aptitude for learning
