Job Summary
Receive merchandise from vendors, check off items as received, and place stock in proper locations on shelves. Correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets and assist in pulling parts during busy times. Clean inside and outside the warehouse, work with the stock manager to address order problems, and resolve stocking issues. Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned while maintaining workplace safety. This part-time role requires lifting up to 100 lbs, standing, and working in fast-paced environments.
Required Qualifications
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh upto 100 lbs
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
- Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
- May be subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
- May be required to function in narrow aisles or passageways
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
- Time management skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
- Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred
- Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
