Job Summary
Operate forklift and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transfer materials while ensuring safe movement of all items within the facility. Receive and stock items in assigned locations, maintain inventory through cycle counts, and complete will calls with timely, accurate paperwork and transaction entries. Wear proper PPE and uniform at all times, maintaining good housekeeping and performing pre- and post-shift forklift inspections. Assist customers and customer service representatives as needed while following established work processes and company policies. Must pass Prove It and driving test, be eligible for in-house forklift certification within 30 days, and hold a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
- Pass pre-employment physical
- Must be eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 days
- 1 plus years of warehouse / logistics experience
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse
- Ability to pass Prove It and driving test
- Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
- Ability to work in warehouse that is not climate controlled
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1 plus years industrial forklift experience strongly preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and surroundings
- Basic Computer skills include data entry to process transactions and generate reports and orders
- Ability to successfully process (ex. Loading and Unloading) products
- Ability to understand and follow work instructions, policies, and procedures
- Be dependable, work well in a team environment, and establish positive working relationships with employees and customers
