Job Summary
Verify, receive, and put away incoming stock while pulling, packing, and staging outgoing orders. Operate handheld scanners to track inventory movement and assist customers with orders and warranty returns. Maintain warehouse cleanliness, perform cycle counts, and complete required DOT, OSHA, and safety certifications. Participate in after-hours training and on-call duties as needed. This role supports SRS Distribution, a Home Depot subsidiary, in delivering building products across the national network.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to stand; walk; sit; lay on the floor; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to work in environments as cold as 20 degrees or as hot as 105 degrees
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to taste or smell
- Must maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures
- Must pass a drug test before beginning work
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of forklift experience preferred
- 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Proficient in computer and inventory systems, preferred
