Job Summary
Daily set-up and operation of spooling machines, including running daily test spools to calibrate footage counters. Operate hand-held scan guns to move spools to appropriate locations, monitor tool kits for completeness, and maintain clean work areas by sweeping floors, wiping machinery, and clearing scrap wire. Assist with additional duties as needed while ensuring all equipment runs smoothly. Shift hours are 5AM to 1:30PM Monday through Friday. This role offers a direct-hire opportunity with a starting pay rate of $17/hr plus full benefits, including 19 PTO days and seven paid holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math and computer skills
- Willingness to learn
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job satisfactorily
