Job Summary
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory while safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Work closely with shipping, sales, pickup & delivery, and service departments to maintain workflow and efficiency. Assign tasks to team members as needed, assist with inventory counts and stock organization, and keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized. Foster teamwork and maintain strong communication with coworkers. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned. This role supports Southern Tire Mart, the #1 Commercial Tire Dealer in the U.S. since 2008.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without assistance
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Tire or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Forklift experience a plus (training available if needed)
