Job Summary
Fulfill partner agency orders accurately and quickly using a handheld scanner, then manually gather and stack products onto secure, well-balanced pallets. Maintain food safety standards by completing daily cycle counts, biannual physical inventories, and ensuring all areas meet Feeding America and AIB guidelines. Operate a standing forklift and pallet jack safely within active aisles while executing WAP movements to optimize racking efficiency. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address product issues and assist in onboarding new staff. This role supports Care and Share's mission to provide nutritious food to Southern Coloradans, requiring occasional weekend or night shifts and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to communicate
- Must be willing to be a participating member of a high-performing team
- Must be able to receive and maintain a forklift certification
- Must be comfortable using various equipment including but not limited to pallet jack (electric and manual), shrink wrap machine, and power washer
- Must be able to receive and maintain a ServSafe® Food Handler Certification
- Must be willing to work nights or weekends occasionally for special events
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must maintain personal automobile insurance that meets company minimum coverage requirements, if a personal vehicle is used for work-related travel
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse/distribution center experience preferred
- Experience operating a standing forklift highly preferred
- Possession of a valid state issued driver's license and clean driving record preferred
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel is preferred
