Job Summary
Accurately pick, stage, and prepare orders for delivery while safely loading, unloading, and moving doors, windows, trim, and specialty millwork. Ensure products are stored properly to prevent damage and maintain organized, clean warehouse aisles, racks, and staging areas. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in a safe and compliant manner, following all company safety procedures and participating in ongoing safety training. Provide excellent service to customers and communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate workflow and resolve issues. This role supports Shepley Wood Products' Millwork team in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to handle materials over 50lbs and work in various weather conditions. Pay range is $20-25/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely handle large, bulky, or heavy materials (greater than 50lbs), and perform the physical requirements of the job including frequent lifting, bending, walking, and material handling
- Working in a warehouse environment in various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, millwork, construction, or lumberyard experience
- Forklift experience or certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Simple math skills
