Job Summary
Unload product and empties from retail trailers each afternoon, preparing them for the next shift's loading. Perform forklift operations under supervision, utilizing organizational skills to manage inventory during the 2PM to 10PM Monday through Friday schedule. This full-time role includes occasional overtime and involves significant walking, standing, and manual labor. Knife & Son, a century-old family-owned beer distributor serving Plymouth, Barnstable, Bristol, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket, provides comprehensive in-house training for all equipment certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- High School diploma/GED
- Must possess a solid work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Must be able to work overtime, when necessary
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday 2PM - 10PM
- Must be able to lift (implied by 'a lot of walking, standing and manual labor' and 'manual labor' requirement)
- Must be able to walk (implied by 'a lot of walking')
- Must be able to stand (implied by 'a lot of walking, standing and manual labor')
- Must be able to operate forklift safely (implied by 'we'll train you on how to safely operate the equipment' and 'certified to safely operate the equipment')
