Job Summary
Process, package, and ship orders accurately while receiving, picking, packing, sorting, loading, and unloading products. Maintain inventory records, inspect shipments for quality and compliance, and organize the storage area to ensure food safety standards are met. Check customer invoices and keep the warehouse clean, adhering to all safety regulations. Suggest improvements to warehouse procedures and operate equipment like hand trucks and pallet jacks. Work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays with a focus on inventory management and food industry operations.
Required Qualifications
- Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 12:00pm -7:00pm, and Sundays from 7:00am-12:00pm
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and control
- Experience in the food industry and knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work weekends if needed
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification is a plus
