Job Summary
As a Warehouse Associate, responsibilities include receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials, reading customer orders and determining items to be moved and sorted. The position requires assembling customer orders and conveying them to the packing station. Must have a high school diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1 to 3 months of related experience. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to perform tasks that require physical activity and the capacity to handle standard operational procedures with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
- Ability to perform operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to use hands, sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk or hear
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments
