Job Summary
Operate forklifts and remote-control overhead cranes to safely load, unload, and move metal pipe, tube, and bar products. Accurately pull, stage, and prepare materials for shipment using metal banding tools, while measuring and cutting stock with automated band saws. Verify material dimensions and maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant workspace. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, read tape measures, and perform basic math. Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional overtime. Competitive hourly pay starting at $20.00.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math accurately (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven dependability
- Comfortable working with heavy pipe & tubing, in an inside and outside environment
- Able to work occasional overtime in this fast-paced environment
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Desired Qualifications
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with forklifts preferred
- Experience with automated band saws and remote-control overhead cranes preferred but not required
