Job Summary
Sort and process materials carefully to maximize reuse and recycling potential while operating warehouse equipment like balers, pallet jacks, and straddle stackers. Prepare outbound shipments accurately and perform other duties assigned by management, including lifting up to 85lb buckets and loading/unloading trucks. Work in a stationary position 50% of the time, occasionally enduring outdoor weather conditions across all four seasons. Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM, with a starting wage of $22/hour and tenure-based increases. Required Qualifications
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance
- Must be able to read and follow written or oral instructions in English
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English digitally over text message and email
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
- Must be able to lift 50lb to the height of 3-4 feet and load and unload them from trucks
- Must be able to lift 85lb buckets onto a hand truck to push to storage
- High school, GED, or equivalent diploma
- Must pass a background check if offered the position
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Warehouse experience
- Experience using pallet jacks and/or balers
- Forklift certification
