Job Summary
Stage and receive incoming shipments, pick customer orders, and ship orders according to requirements. Verify inventory, prepare shipments for secure packaging, and unload deliveries to stock materials in designated locations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. Gain knowledge to identify best shipping methods to guarantee on-time delivery and prevent damage. This role supports daily warehouse operations at Standard Electric Supply Co.'s Tulsa, OK location, contributing to our 106-year history of serving as a wholesale distributor of electrical and automation supplies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted required.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to operate a Forklift or other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Experience utilizing RF scanners.
