Job Summary
Operate production cutting equipment safely to prepare materials for distribution, ensuring specifications and quality standards are met. Drive forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks to move, stage, and load/unload materials while receiving shipments and verifying quantities. Accurately record and label items, retrieve materials for customer orders, and pack shipments securely with proper labeling. Perform regular inventory counts, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. Follow all safety protocols and collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. Valid driver's license required; drug panel and background check contingent upon offer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks such as counting, labeling, and recording inventory
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment
- Forklift certification
- Pole lift/attachment experience
- Basic math and computer skills, including the ability to use inventory management software and handheld devices
