Job Summary
Warehouse Associate needed for a full-time role at Professional Contractor Supply in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include participating in receiving and shipping of merchandise, assisting warehouse management, maintaining orderly shipping areas, loading and unloading merchandise on delivery trucks, and adhering to safety policies. Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs, operate forklift and manlift, and maintain punctuality and reliability. Must be competent with computers, communicate effectively with team members, and support inventory control while maintaining confidentiality of company information. Partial duties include attending departmental meetings and training, and completing projects on time in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to operate forklift and manlift
- Background check and drug screening required prior to employment
- Able to work Saturdays for inventory (may be required)
- Proficient with computer skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Professionalism with respect to time management and meeting deadlines
- Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
