Job Summary
Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the manufacturing facility, including loading and unloading trucks and delivering items to production areas. Assist in inventory organization by conducting regular counts and checks to ensure accurate levels, while adjusting to changes in material handling requirements based on production demands. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and communicate effectively with supervisors to coordinate movements and report any issues impacting schedules. Work Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm for 40 hours with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations related to forklift operation
- 1-3 years experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certification is preferred
- Experience with different types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, clamp, etc.)
- Familiarity with handling and transporting materials within a corrugated manufacturing environment is a plus
