Job Summary
Warehouse Associate in Thermo Fisher Scientific, supporting receiving, packaging and distribution across ambient, cold or frozen environments. Responsibilities include picking and packing client orders, receiving deliveries into correct storage locations and inventory software, following Production Orders for client packaging, completing GMP paperwork on time, conducting inventories/cycle counts and waste disposals, maintaining SOPs, ensuring safe housekeeping, and upholding cGMP, safety and quality requirements with PPE usage. Strong emphasis on collaboration within cross-functional teams, accuracy, and the ability to operate in diverse temperature conditions; experience with GxP and handling pharmaceutical materials is desirable. Second shift (afternoons) with a focus on meeting project timelines and continuous improvement through Lean/PPI practices.
Required Qualifications
- English GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification
- Mathematics GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification
- IT literate
- Able to work under pressure and support others within the team
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in ambient, cold-chain and -20°C environments as required
