Job Summary
Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup while assisting in loading the delivery truck. Receive shipments, log into inventory, and maintain stock through audits. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintaining required certification, performing vehicle safety checks, and reporting discrepancies to the supervisor. Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently. Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday mornings during summer. This safety-sensitive role supports POOLCORP, the world's leading distributor of outdoor living products, ensuring safe and complete deliveries to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance
- Forklift certification
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Ability to perform vehicle safety checks
- Ability to report discrepancies to supervisor
- Ability to maintain facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently
- Ability to communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers
- Ability to coordinate deliveries/pick-up
- Ability to receive shipments
- Ability to log into inventory
- Ability to maintain inventory through audits
- Ability to accurately pull, fill, pack and set up orders for delivery or pickup
- Ability to assist in loading the delivery truck
- Ability to accurately and safely receive/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to make safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers
- Ability to comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations
- Ability to fill in as needed as a Backup Driver
- Ability to support the team and our customers
- Ability to work Monday-Friday 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM
- Ability to work occasional Saturday morning during summer
- Ability to complete pre-employment drug testing
- Ability to pass background verifications
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position
- Ability to work for a drug-free company
