Job Summary
Accurately pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup while assisting in loading the delivery truck. Receive shipments, log into inventory, and maintain stock through audits. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to the supervisor. Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups. Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds
- Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds
- Must be available for Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
- Must be able to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Must maintain required forklift certification
- Must perform vehicle safety checks
- Must report discrepancies to supervisor
- Must be able to accurately pull, fill, pack and set up orders
- Must be able to assist in loading the delivery truck
- Must be able to receive shipments
- Must be able to log into inventory
- Must be able to maintain inventory through audits
- Must be able to communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers
- Must be able to assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently
- Must complete pre-employment drug testing
- Must complete background verifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior forklift experience
- Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing
- Bilingual
