Job Summary
Pick product from fulfillment center stock according to wave pick lists, verify items against invoices by manufacturer, item number, and description, and confirm expiration dates for time-sensitive goods. Count quantities, match shipping labels to invoices, select correct packaging, and create shipping papers for hazardous materials. Weigh non-auto-manifested packages, determine transportation methods, and apply proper labels. Fulfill current or new client orders to achieve customer satisfaction while maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse. Handle hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to company procedures and applicable laws.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and count
- Comprehensive problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and productivity goals
- Using assigned warehouse equipment/machinery to perform assigned job
- Meeting/exceeding assigned performance metrics and KPIs
- Handling all hazardous materials, pesticides, and prescription drugs according to the Company's processes/procedures and all applicable laws and regulations
- Ability to train and certify the use of a variety of forklifts: sit down, Cherry picker (mobile elevated working platform) and/or Joey forklift (multipurpose order picker that can elevate an operator and can be driven at height to move from task to task)
