Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments of automotive glass and related materials. Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders while operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely. Conduct quality checks to ensure products are free from defects, maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems, and assist in loading and unloading trucks with proper stacking. Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations. This part-time role includes two shifts (6:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or flexible) at $25.00/hour with a 401(k) match. The team handles fragile automotive glass in a fast-paced environment requiring precision and attention to safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and ability to follow established procedures
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping/receiving documentation
