Job Summary
Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights, load and unload materials from trailers by hand, and move pallets or materials around the distribution center. Check loads to ensure they are secure, examine products to verify conformance to quality standards, and coordinate trailer moves within the yard management system. Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress and communicate regularly with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager. This role requires a high school degree or GED, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work overtime. Employees will work the 4th shift from Friday to Sunday in Douglas, GA, handling physical tasks including lifting up to 70 pounds. Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
