Job Summary
Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks, stock warehouse areas, and assist in inventory control processes. Fill buckets and drums for customer orders while sorting and placing materials on racks according to predetermined sequences. Complete cleaning and maintenance of the warehouse and yard, and follow company safety standards by reporting issues. Turn on fuel pumps for customers without access. Work in a warehouse or yard setting with frequent exposure to equipment, machinery, and dusty or wet environments. Lift up to 75 lbs and move drums up to 400 lbs. Requires a valid driver's license, one year of warehouse experience, and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- One or more years experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes
- Adheres to the company's values and ethical expectations
- Able to effectively multitask with a strong attention to detail
- Able to obtain Company forklift certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Able to move drums up to 400 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Three or more years experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field
- Trade or technical school (Certificate or diploma) in an applicable field
