Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders, then sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations. Pick and pack customer orders accurately, prepare shipments for dispatch with proper packaging and labeling, and load/unload trucks safely. Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move goods while performing cycle counting to maintain accurate stock levels. Keep the warehouse environment clean and organized, assist with shipping documentation and data entry, and verify all activities against shipping guidelines. This role supports National Oak Distributors' expanded presence in the automotive aftermarket distribution industry through efficient receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proficiency in using RF scanners
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and order processing
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in the English language
- Experience with order picking and packaging
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with palletizing
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience with material handling equipment
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented
