Job Summary
Warehouse Associate (Night Shift) at Grainger. Responsibilities include safely completing inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks such as unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing products; ensuring products are shipped correctly to meet quality and delivery speed; meeting safety, quality, productivity, and attendance requirements; operating computerized scanning equipment; maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous materials requirements; and performing other tasks as directed by leadership. Requires readiness to work 7:00 pm to 5:30 am (or 8:00 pm to 6:30 am) with occasional overtime. PIE operators may operate various warehouse vehicles and powered equipment. Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are emphasized. Shift details and site location: 8701 Minor Lane, Louisville, KY 40219.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust
- Ability to receive feedback and work well in a team environment
- For PIE operators: ability to operate warehouse vehicles and powered industrial equipment (Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck)
- Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience (preferred)
