Job Summary
Under direct supervision, perform all shipping and receiving activities for a Branch location, ensuring customers receive correct items timely and stocked merchandise remains properly maintained. Determine which items need picking, checking, and shipping from sales orders, then recheck them for accuracy before preparing and securing packages for delivery. Process customer returns for shipment back to Distribution Centers or suppliers, sort materials according to established MINO codes, and report any damaged inventory immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment while operating forklifts or similar equipment as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to move up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Certification to operate a forklift
