Job Summary
Receive and stock bulk and packaged products, repackaging items as needed. Perform tank readings, customer pickups, and LTL shipments while loading, filling, and labeling drums, kegs, and pails according to assignments. Secure products in delivery trucks daily based on manifests and unloads trucks efficiently, storing items in appropriate areas. Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and electric jacks to move goods. Complete daily records of received and filled products, update load slips, and retrieve packing slips promptly. Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse, conduct fire extinguisher checks, and complete inventory counts as required. Adhere to all safety procedures and work with minimal supervision. Maintain a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Must be able to perform with minimal or no supervision
- Must be able to climb, bend, stand for extended periods of time
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
- Must maintain a flexible work schedule to include irregular hours, weekend and holidays
- Must adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Less than one year related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in an ERP environment
