Job Summary
Read sales orders to determine items for picking, packing, and shipping. Convey materials from receiving to storage racks or designated areas. Assemble customer orders from stock, place them on pallets or shelves, and move them to the packing station. Use proper packing techniques to protect products during shipping. Utilize computer or bar code scanners to enter records and control inventory. Drive a forklift to transport material. Maintain general warehouse housekeeping and follow safe work habits. Requires at least one year of warehouse experience, one year of forklift operation, and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Minimum of one year experience driving a forklift
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to a maximum of 60 pounds
- A stable work history of at least 12 months
- Experience using a computer
- A positive attitude and are a team player
