Job Summary
Unload freight from trucking companies using manual or powered equipment under the direction of the Supervisor and Site Manager. Break down freight at an adequate pace while operating a forklift or electric pallet jack, if trained. Continuously lift and move loads up to 75 pounds in a physically demanding environment. Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires reliable transportation and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime without advanced notice. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Prior warehouse experience and forklift operation skills are a plus, though training is provided for equipment use.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to move up 50-75 pounds continuously
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
