Job Summary
Pull and pick material from inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately, inspect items for defects, and verify specifications against pick tickets. Package materials per customer requirements, enter order data into the ERP system, and generate shipping labels. Cut and deburr material using abrasive saws, FMB saws, and cold saw equipment while maintaining accurate inventory locations through cycle counts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following all safety procedures. Requires forklift certification or ability to obtain it, plus experience operating abrasive saws and grinders. High school diploma required with one to two years of warehouse experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Ability to safely operate abrasive saws, FMB saws, cold saws, grinders, and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, and climb for extended periods throughout the workday
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to read and accurately use rulers, measuring tapes, calipers, and micrometers
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow established procedures
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position safely and successfully in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other applicable federal, state, and local laws
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) to two (2) years of warehouse, distribution, or material handling experience
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment
- Forklift certification
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes
