Job Summary
Adhere to daily shipping and receiving processes, verifying product against packing slips and purchase orders while loading or unloading materials manually or with a forklift. Replenish shelves with incoming stock, perform parts runs between locations to pick up and deliver items, and package goods for local and out-of-town deliveries. Assist with year-end physical inventory and maintain an organized, clean warehouse environment. This role requires a forklift certification, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced shop and outdoor setting. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- one year of previous shipping, receiving, warehouse and/or parts driving experience
- Previous parts or warehouse experience
- Experience with an inventory management system
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and strict attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of work

- Ability to operate both sit down and standup forklifts and obtain Forklift Certification

- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must have a strong attendance record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and audiogram
- Proficient on a computer and possess the ability to learn new programs quickly
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be able to work independently and create innovative solutions to problems with minimal direction from supervisors
- Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Safety shoes are required
- Safety glasses may be required for some tasks
- Ability to see things in close proximity whether through natural or corrected vision
- Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day
- The ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent lifting, moderate to heavy (50 lbs plus requires team lifting), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms of heights above 42", significant stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling throughout an 8-12 hour day, and up to 60 hours per week
- Able to work as scheduled with punctual attendance, regularly scheduled day is 8 hours with a start time possible between 7 am 9 am, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary in order to meet business demands
