Job Summary
Handle loose freight, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the distribution center. Perform order picking, load trucks based on weight and size constraints, and use handheld scanners for warehouse management system compliance. Maintain facility cleanliness and adhere strictly to safety policies to ensure safe working conditions. Work cooperatively with associates with little supervision, completing assigned tasks in a timely manner. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm with overtime available from 6am to 4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air conditioned or heated, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Computer experience, such as order management systems including WMS
