Job Summary
Warehouse Associate responsible for loading and unloading stone materials (natural stone, quartz, solid surfaces), operating forklift to move slabs, preparing orders, and ensuring safe, organized shipping and receiving. Requires forklift certification, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, experience in shipping/receiving, strong communication, data-entry and math skills, and a customer-oriented, detail-driven approach. Works in a warehouse with varying temperatures; adheres to safety procedures and contributes to a tidy, efficient workspace. May assist training new employees and supports quality service standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Ability to pass forklift certification
- Experience in shipping and/or receiving
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Basic math and organizational skills
- Ability to bend and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Positive, customer-oriented attitude
- Proficiency in data entry/computer skills
- Ability to work on feet for long hours
- Understanding security protocols and requirements
- Detail-oriented mindset
