Job Summary
Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packaging, and loading/unloading truck shipments while verifying stock against purchase orders. Operate forklifts, dollies, and pallet jacks to handle material movement, inspect shipments for defects, and maintain inventory accuracy by checking shelves and resolving shortages. Clean work areas, loading docks, and aisles daily to eliminate tripping hazards, and assist with snow removal. Requires ability to lift up to 80 lbs and move materials up to 600 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Effective communication/comprehension skills - verbal and written
- Math Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Basic computer skills
- Physical Requirements – ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, climb ladders, lift materials up to 80 lbs., and move materials up to 600 lbs using a pallet jack
