Job Summary
Greet customers, pick tickets, and load/unload trucks while utilizing handheld RF scanners to move and track products through the Warehouse Management System. Verify order accuracy for both picked items and shipments received, and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse environment. Lift and move boxes of building materials weighing up to 70 pounds, working in teams or one-on-one with customers. Shifts typically run Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, though hours may vary by location. Prior material-handling experience and forklift skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and willingness to lift boxes and building materials weighing as much as 70+ lbs
- Ability to work in a team and/or one-on-one with our customers
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work successfully under the pressure of deadlines and to accept new ways of doing business
- Strong, positive attitude
Desired Qualifications
- Prior material-handling or warehouse experience (preferred)
- Experience in building products as well as previous warehouse experience is strongly desired
- Experience with a forklift is a plus
