Job Summary
Receive, inspect, and store incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment in designated areas while maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies. Prepare and stage materials for delivery to construction sites, operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to load and unload trucks safely. Keep the warehouse, yard, and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and wearing required PPE. Conduct regular inventory counts, perform basic maintenance on tools, and assist with deliveries or pickups as assigned. This role supports company needs through tasks outside standard warehouse operations, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret delivery documents, work orders, and inventory lists
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. regularly
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment
- Good vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience, preferably in a construction-related environment is highly preferred
- CDL
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. regularly
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb, and reach for extended periods
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Ability to operate manual and powered material handling equipment
- Good vision, hearing, and hand-eye coordination for safe equipment operation
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as needed
