Job Summary
Warehouse Associate, Inventory Control at Lakeshore: responsible for counting and verifying inventory, following documented warehouse processes, inputting data into the warehouse management system, ensuring pick locations are ready for picking/packing with correct sku labels, handling damaged items for disposition, analyzing inventory data to recognize trends, investigating discrepancies, operating equipment to count items, and performing tasks as assigned by supervisor. Requires experience in warehouse/distribution/mfg environments, forklift operation, proficiency with Excel and WMS, strong communication, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and attention to detail. Required Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
- Experience operating forklift equipment
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience operating material handling equipment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- PC and/or WMS systems experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is expected
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail
