Job Summary
Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically, pull orders from shelves, and pack finished goods for delivery. Load, unload, prepare, and operate delivery vehicles while inspecting products for defects and accuracy. Unload materials from incoming vehicles, stack them to assigned places, and pull orders to secure onto pallets. Inspect machinery to determine repair needs, maintain tools and equipment, and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed. Occasionally assist on local job-sites for building structures and loading trucks. This full-time, direct hire position offers overtime pay and includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid holidays. A valid driver's license and forklift experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current Valid Drivers License
- Be willing to travel occasionally to sites under construction in the US
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Familiar with basic hand tools
- Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
- Able to work overtime occasionally
- Able to read and understand safety instructions
- Able to repeatedly lift-up to 75Ibs
- Willing to complete fork lift training
- Small engine repair and maintenance skills
- Stand continuously for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift License Preferred
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Fork lift experience and license preferred
- Experience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)
