Job Summary
Operate Material Handling Equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to receive, pick, and ship glass orders while utilizing handheld RF scanners to locate inventory. Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand or forklift and maintain a secure, clean work area. Adhere to all safety and PPE requirements and drive to deliver automotive glass and parts to store locations. Shifts run Monday through Friday between 4:00 AM and 6:00 PM with Saturday flexibility, starting at $20.66/hour. Candidates must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, pass an MVR check, and weigh under 300 lbs. This role supports Safelite AutoGlass, the nation's largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records check (MVR)
- Experience with MHE equipment including order picker, forklift, and reach truck
- Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts
- Punctuality and consistent attendance
- Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service
