Job Summary
Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system while matching packing lists to actual merchandise. Prepare packages for storage, pack and unpack stock items with proper labeling, and verify computations against physical counts. Inspect stock for wear or defects, identify short shipments, and notify supervisors immediately. Operate forklifts or other machinery as needed, deliver supplies to designated areas, and maintain a clean work zone. Follow safety policies and exercise judgment under general supervision. Requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. White Cap serves contractors with concrete, chemicals, tools, and safety products across North America through over 500 branches.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes
- Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time
