Job Summary
Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move merchandise, then pick, pack, and ship products to customers. Receive, count, and record shipment information into the system, lifting and carrying material up to 50 pounds while performing other duties as assigned. May work inside the warehouse or outside in the yard. Requires generally 2-5 years of experience and the physical ability to lift heavy materials. Bilingual-Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Generally has 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Knowledge of construction and industrial products
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
