Job Summary
Warehouse Associate II responsible for handling all inbound/outbound materials with emphasis on FedEx/UPS carrier processes, documenting shipments, and maintaining inventory integrity. Key duties include carrier shipping operations (shipment creation, label generation, manifests, end-of-day close-out), ensuring compliance with routing guides and packaging requirements, managing carrier documentation, coordinating trailer loading, and resolving shipment discrepancies. Also conduct inbound/outbound material handling, verify against POs and system records, perform inspections, FIFO inventory controls, and prepare orders for shipment. Maintain ERP/warehouse management records, use barcode scanners, operate forklifts, support monthly warehouse close activities, and uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards. Flexibility for overtime and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating FedEx and UPS shipping systems, including end‐of‐day processing
- Strong attention to detail with shipping documentation and inventory accuracy
- Proficiency with computers, inventory systems, and barcode scanning technology
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, routing guides, and work instructions
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills
- Forklift operation experience (certification preferred or required by company policy)
